This small 18th century palace is next to the National Art Museum in the romantic Rua das Janelas Verdes. The 17 cheerful and sunny rooms are all equipped with double glazing, air conditioning, in-room safe, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, modem jack, hairdryer and bathrobe. Non smoking rooms are available.

Eça de Queirós, the famous Portuguese novelist, is connected to the hotel by tradition and there are those who say that he lived and found inspiration here in this palace for another magical home - “O Ramalhete” in his novel Os Maias.
